Miami - the Grace & Henry Way
If you’re coming for the weekend or planning a longer stay in Miami, there is no shortage of art, culture and activities to do in The 305. Spending time at the beach is always an option, but here are some of the incredible ways Henry and I spend our time while in Miami.
Art, Museums & Neighborhoods to Explore

The Rubell Museum
The Rubell Museum, has one of the largest private contemporary art collections in the U.S. Exhibited works include renowned artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Yayoi Kusama, Cindy Sherman, Jeff Koons and more.

The Miami Design District
The Miami Design District, a vibrant neighborhood known for its cutting-edge architecture, contemporary public art, world-class art galleries and luxury shopping is a great place to spend the day.
G+H Tip: if you plan on visiting this neighborhood, make an advanced lunch or dinner reservation at Mandolin, ZZ’s, Michael’s Genuine, Contessa or Cote.

Wynwood Arts District
Wynwood is known for colorful street art and murals. Simply strolling through the neighborhood can be a full day activity, especially if you stop at many of the incredible breweries and restaurants.
G+H Tip: Every Saturday & Sunday there is a Smorgasburg food fest from 2:00pm - 10:00pm. Other recommendations include: Cervecería La Tropical (brewery), Casa La Rubia (brewery), Doya (amazing Mediterranean food for any meal of the day).

The Faena Hotel
A quick trip to the Faena to see Damien Hirst's famous: "Gone But Not Forgotten” is a Miami must. The hotel also has incredible art throughout public spaces.
G+H Tip: recommend going for a cocktail at the famed Saxony Bar or across the street to the Faena Bazaar for upscale shopping.

South of Fifth
If you go to the “South of Fifth” neighborhood (everything below 5th Street in Miami Beach) you’ll find some of the best restaurants and views in the city and avoid the spring-breakers.
G+H Tip: have brunch or dinner at Abbale or Lilikoi, or grab a martini at Smith & Wollensky, before taking stroll in South Pointe Park. You will see incredible views of the ocean and can watch the cruise ships navigating to and from the Port of Miami.

The Pérez Art Museum Miami
The downstairs galleries will be open to our wedding guests on Saturday evening, however taking a walk around Maurice A. Ferré Park and touring the entire museum is recommended during your trip!

You might have heard, but Henry is pretty excited about a sport called Padel.

Paddle Board, Kayak & Electric Surfboard Rentals

Located on the bay-side (not ocean) makes this the best spot to rent a kayak, paddle board or electric surfboard.

Miami Heat at the Kaseya Center
Check the schedule for the Miami Heat, there will likely be a home game in early March!

Inter Miami FC - Chase Stadium
If you love sports & haven’t seen Messi play before, Henry might require you check the schedule for Miami FC. Inter Miami is in the process of constructing a new, state-of-the-art 25,000 seat stadium named Miami Freedom Park that will serve as the club's permanent home. For now, Messi and his teammates continue to play their home matches at Chase Stadium up closer to Lauderdale while the new facility is under development.

Miami Beach Golf Club (Alton Rd & 23rd St) offers six free first-come-first-served courts for pickleball.
G Tip: absolutely do not tell Henry if you decide to play pickle over padel.
